Plans that tie out.

I design and build connected planning in Pigment for finance, people and revenue teams. Every model ships with checks that prove the totals reconcile, so your next board pack holds up.

What finance leaders tell me

  • "The model is too slow to use in the meeting."
  • "Nobody trusts the headcount number."
  • "Every reforecast takes two weeks of spreadsheets."
  • "We bought Pigment but only use half of it."

Work

Models built the way finance teams think

Each project uses a fictional company so I can show the whole model. Live demos are built and ready to walk through. Blueprints are fully designed and being built next.

Services

Where I can help

For companies running Pigment, and for implementation partners who need senior modeling capacity.

Build

New Pigment implementations

From requirements to a live model: data hub, versions and scenarios, planning logic, boards and reconciliation against your current numbers.

Fix

Model health and performance

An audit of slow calculations, dense formulas, broken lineage and access gaps, with a ranked fix list. I can make the fixes too.

Move

Anaplan to Pigment migration

Modules mapped to metrics and dimensions, redesigned where a straight port would be wrong, and run side by side until totals tie.

Extend

Partner delivery support

Hands-on capacity for Pigment partners. I take a workstream, follow your standards and hand over clean documentation.

Show

Executive boards and frames

Board packs, guided planning sequences and custom pages such as ARR bridges and driver workbenches.

Speed

AI-assisted modeling

Claude connected to Pigment speeds up builds, audits and documentation. A person reviews every change before it reaches your model.

How we engage

Three ways to start

Start small and expand when it's working. Every engagement ends with documentation your team can own.

Diagnostic

Model health check

A fixed-scope review of one application, with findings ranked by impact and effort.

  • Performance and formula review
  • Lineage and naming audit
  • Written report and walkthrough

Typically 1 to 2 weeks

Build

Phased implementation

A new model or a major rebuild, delivered in phases with working boards at each step.

  • Design spec you sign off
  • Hub, planning, then reporting
  • Reconciliation pack and training

Typically 6 to 12 weeks

Partner

Ongoing modeling support

A monthly block of senior modeling time for your team or your clients.

  • Change requests and new modules
  • Month-end and cycle support
  • Same modeler every time

Monthly, flexible hours

Approach

How a project runs

The same five steps on every build, so you always know what comes next.

  1. Discover

Your planning calendar, files and pain points. Agree dimensions, versions, users and what done means.

  2. Design

Architecture on paper first: applications, shared lists, version logic, access and the boards each role uses.

  3. Build

Hub first, then planning logic, then reporting. You see working boards early and can redirect.

  4. Tie out

Totals checked against your source and the old model. Control checks stay in the model and read zero.

  5. Hand over

Model guide, recorded walkthrough and training, so your team owns it after I leave.

Founder

Dhiraj Khivasara

I founded Footing Advisory to put planning models on solid footing. I'm a Pigment modeler and EPM consultant based in Pune, India, and I started my career in consulting at Deloitte.

I care about models that are still easy to change a year later: clear naming, one source for each number, versions designed from day one, and checks that prove the totals tie. I'm also studying management at SPJIMR, which keeps me close to how leaders use the numbers.

I work remotely with teams anywhere in the world and plan my hours around yours.

FAQ

Common questions

If yours isn't here, ask on a call.

Do you work directly with companies or through partners?

Both. I work with finance teams that run Pigment, and as a subcontractor for Pigment implementation partners under their standards and branding.

How do you handle our data?

I work inside your Pigment workspace under your access rules and an NDA. Client data stays in your systems, and demos on this site use fictional data only.

How do you use AI in your work?

I use Claude connected to Pigment to draft formulas, audit models and write documentation faster. Every change is reviewed by me before it's applied, and I only use it on client workspaces with your approval.

Can you work in our time zone?

Yes. I'm based in India and regularly schedule calls and working sessions in US and European hours.

Do you only work in Pigment?

Pigment is my main platform. I also have Anaplan experience, which helps on migrations and when comparing approaches.
